Membership

 We have a number of membership categories to suit everyone.  Download a subscription form or register online.  Our season runs from 1 September each year.

 

Junior Tennis Membership

For Year 4 to Year 8 school children. Juniors can use the courts week days up to 5:00pm and Saturday mornings until 12 noon.

Children who are new to tennis are taught basic ground strokes and serving; those with more experience, volleying, how to score and play a match.

Saturday Juniors’ Club Day is divided into two sessions: 8:15am (Years 4 & 5) and 9:30am (Years 6, 7 & 8) from September to April.  Juniors receive a 22 week season with a professional coach for up to 1.5 hours per week in groups as part of their membership.

Intermediate Tennis Membership

For Year 9 to Year 13 school children. Intermediates can use the courts up until 6:00pm week days.
 
Our aim is to teach children who are new to tennis the ground strokes, serving and volleying. Players with more experience play matches and learn game tactics. Our best intermediate players play at Senior Interclub level.
 
Intermediates’ Club Night is on Thursdays 5.30pm–7:00pm (with the option to play until 8:00pm if games organised) from September to April. Intermediates receive a 20 week season with a professional coach in groups for 1.5 hours per week as part of their membership.

Senior Tennis Membership

Membership offers adults play any day of the week, any time excluding when interclub is being played, Club events (such as Club nights or Champs) or prior bookings.
 
Senior Club Night, Wednesdays 7:00pm - 10:00pm year round.
 
Senior Club Afternoon, Sunday from 4:30pm during summer.
 
Group Coaching 6:00pm Wednesdays; 3:30pm Sundays during summer

For those more interested in social tennis, Wednesday Club Night mixes all players together and finishes upstairs in the clubhouse with a relaxing few drinks at the bar and one of our famous West End Burgers.

Midweek Tennis Memberhip

Midweek players access courts at a discounted rate between 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
 
Club Days are Wednesday 9:00am – 12 noon and Friday 9:00am – 11:00am, during which time a supervised playgroup is run upstairs in the clubhouse for players’ children.

Family Tennis Membership

Family membership is for two adults and all children from the same household.

Veteran Tennis Membership

Available to those 65+ years.

Couples Tennis Membership

Available to 2 adults at the same address.
 

Student Tennis Membership

Available to fulltime tertiary students.

Social Membership

Available to non-playing.
